JUET 2018: Admission Schedule for the various UG, PG And Professional Courses, University of Jammu


The Admission Schedule for the various Academic Programmes of the University of Jammu i.e. the Main Campus/ Offsite Campuses/ Affiliated Colleges for the Academic Session 2018-19 is hereby notified for the information of all those candidates who have appeared in the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET-2018) and who are otherwise eligible for seeking Admission for the various Academic Programmes as per the Statutes/ Provisions
as laid down in the Admission Brochure for JUET-2018:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES AND ALL CONCERNED:



1. For admission to the various PG / UG Courses in the University of Jammu for the Academic  Session 2018-19, appearance in The Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET-2018) is. mandatory;
2. The candidates may fill up the online Admission Form for admission to the various Academic Programmes of the University of Jammu carefully and after reading the Statutes/Provisions as  have been laid down in the Admission Brochure (JUET-2018). The University will not be
responsible for any error committed by the candidates in the matter;
3. The admission of a candidate filling and supplying incorrect / factually wrong information in the  online Admission Form is liable to be cancelled by the University at any stage. In such a case,  the candidate shall be solely responsible for the same;
4. The Admissions for the various PG and the UG course(s) shall be made on the basis of the  Composite Merit of a Candidate which shall comprise 75% weightage for the Academic Score in  the Qualifying Examination and 25% weightage for the Score obtained in JUET-2018;
5. Any Applicant seeking admission under the Achievement Categories as mentioned under Statute  (B) (ii) & (iii) (Refer Admission Brochure JUET- 2018, page No. 105) has to submit Achievement Certificates, as required. The Achievement Certificates along with the prescribed
downloaded Application Form have to be deposited in the Office of the Dean Students Welfare for the assessment/ evaluation of the same by the concerned Convener(s) for consideration of such a candidate for admission on or before July 16, 2018 (Monday);
6. A Candidate selected for admission under a Reserved Category must keep ready and attach attested / self attested copy of the State Subject Certificate and the relevant Reserved Category Certificate(s) as required and as issued by the Competent Authority for the purpose as per the latest SRO. Such a candidate shall submit the Category Certificate(s) to the concerned Department(s) for verification. No under process Certificate shall be entertained. The  concerned candidates must also attach the requisite Affidavit / Certificate wherever required and  applicable (Refer page No. 133 to 138 of the Admission Brochure JUET – 2018). The admission of such a candidate under the reserved category is subject to verification / vetting / endorsement
/ authenticity by a member(s) of the concerned committee/ by the concerned Department;
7. A candidate who does not opt for the Self Financing Seat(s) at the time of the filling up of the Online Application Form with the requisite fee shall not be considered for the Self Financing Seat later;
8. In respect of the Admissions to the Campuses / Affiliated Colleges, the Nodal Departments shall charge the University Fee and the remaining fee (if any) shall be charged directly by the respective Campus/ Institute / College;
9 In case of Admissions in the M.P.Ed. & B.P.Ed. Courses, the final selection list of the candidates  shall be notified by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu only on the
completion/ qualifying of the Canadian / Physical Test;
10 In case of any dispute/ complaint in the matter of Admissions, the committee as may be constituted for the purpose by the Vice-Chancellor shall only be competent to dispose off such a  complaint/dispute. In case, the candidate is not satisfied, the matter shall be referred to the Vice-
Chancellor whose decision in the matter shall be final and binding upon the complainant.
